About the role

As a Senior Accountant, you will work on a wide range of diverse and dynamic projects for which you will mainly:

  • Handle/review the day-to-day bookkeeping of Luxembourg holding companies;
  • Handle/review the day-to-day operations of companies and answer to clients’ requests;
  • Liaise with client’s management, finance teams, banks, administrations and auditors;
  • Prepare statutory financial statements and periodic reports;
  • Prepare legal documentation (such as board meetings and shareholders meetings package);
  • Participate in the preparation of indirect and direct tax returns and provisions in coordination with the dedicated teams;
  • Be an important link between management and junior staff;
  • Coach and supervise the daily work of Junior Accountants and Trainees;
  • Be responsible for the quality of the work and documents produced and submitted to management review;
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

About you

  • You hold a degree (min. BAC+3 or equivalent) in Accounting, Finance or Economics;
  • You have minimum 3 years of relevant experience in the accounting field;
  • You are fluent in French and in English;
  • You have good knowledge of standard computer tools (MS Office) and BOB50/Sage;
  • You have strong knowledge of Luxembourg accounting and legal environment;
  • You are seen as a good team worker, with strong organization and prioritization skills;
  • You are pragmatic, rigorous and able to produce high-quality work even when working within tight deadlines;
  • You are client-oriented with excellent communication skills;

About the role

As a Junior Consolidation Accountant, you will be responsible with the support of more senior team members for a portfolio of high-profile clients and will work as part of a team to achieve and meet their needs, including:

  • Assisting in the setting up of the consolidation file
  • Handle with the data entries
  • Review and coordinate the reconciliation of inter-company transactions and handle with the elimination entries
  • Preparation of statement of cash flows
  • Support in performing IFRS adjustments, preparing consolidation or IFRS treatment memorandums
  • Assisting in the preparation of the financial statements under IFRS or Lux GAAP together with the accompanying notes
  • Taking part in the coordination process with clients and in the assistance to the auditors

About you

  • You hold a degree (min. BAC+3 or equivalent) in Accounting, Finance or Economics
  • You have a minimum of 1 year of relevant experience in the fields of IFRS and/or consolidation or audit of consolidation
  • You have a good knowledge of IFRS and LuxGAAP
  • You are fluent in French and in English
  • You have good knowledge of standard computer tools (MS Office)
  • Good knowledge of at least one consolidation & reporting software is a must
  • You are an analytical person with good problem-solving skills and logical mind
  • You have strong knowledge of Luxembourg accounting and legal environment
  • You are pragmatic, rigorous and able to produce high-quality work even when working within tight deadlines

About the role

As a Senior Consolidation Accountant and in collaboration with Consolidation Managers, you will be responsible for a portfolio of clients for which you will mainly:

  • Coordinate the relationship with the parties involved in the consolidation process
  • Review and analyse reporting packages in multi-GAAP (IFRS/LuxGAAP) and multi-lingual/currency environment
  • Review and coordinate the reconciliation of inter-company transactions
  • Book consolidation adjustments among other to align the different local accounting policies with the Group accounting ones
  • Prepare and update consolidation working papers and liaise with the external auditors
  • Prepare notes to the accounts and draft consolidation financial statements in IFRS/LuxGAAP respecting guidelines and deadlines

About you
